People may try to give up chocolate, red wine, tea and coffee as part of New Year's resolutions.
But if these foods, such as chocolate are consumed in moderation they are an excellent source of antioxidants.
Healthy eating plans should be about balance, making informed choices and taking a sensible long-term approach.
So do not give up chocolate. Do eat it in moderation, like everyday. Make sure it is dark chocolate.
February is National Chocolate Month. Everywhere you look there is chocolate!
The be
st is wonderful rich, fresh gourmet chocolate; but some is not so good.
Some chocolate candy is more sugar, air and flavorings and not real chocolate. Some have been made for many months sitting and waiting for the unknowing buyer, that thinks they are getting good chocolate for that special person.
Treat your chocolate lover (or yourself) to marvelous fresh gourmet chocolates; made when you order with premium chocolate. That is the only way to have great chocolate
; and to celebrate National Chocolate Month. Be sure to celebrate the whole month, with fresh gourmet chocolates every day, is the only way.
Valentine’s Day – Monday, February 14
Cupid is on the prowl!! Men on average spend more than women for this heartfelt day.
3.5 billion on jewelry
1.7 billion on flowers
1.1 billion on greeting cards
and my favorite 1.5 billion on candy (which has got to be chocolate)
So why not join all those billions of “lovers” and give some fresh gourmet chocolates.
This is an opportunity to do something that we all should be thinking about all year – how important special people and relationships in our lives are to us.
What a way to have fruit! Fruit cordials are made with fresh fruit and premium chocolate. Imagine whole ripened berries floating in a cordial fondant - then hand dipped in fresh gourmet chocolate. Unbelievable!!
Remember your Valentine on February 14. A real sweet treat for that special person in your life.
